This thing looks like your regular gaming controller but it's not....This is a FLIR control which would be use to control the FLIR thermal imaging camera usually fitted on the underside of the aircraft.

I have assisted in installation and removal of the FLIR camera on the Malaysian Coast Guard helicopters..and i can say..it is not an easy job =) The FLIR camera itself is said to cost around half a million Ringgit Malaysia.
